Of all the Dragon Fire Novels, this one was my least favortie. With each of the other stories, you were swept away by the story. You rooted for life, hated the Slayers and wanted to just beat the crap out of Balthsar, over and over again. Magnus was no winner either. But in this story, you just moved along at an even keel. Lots of action yes but Brandon is so busy hating the fact he is a Pry that the glitter is not so bright. I would recommend it but only because it is part of the line.

Cooke's work always grabs you from page one. This one was no different. Love her books and characters.
These characters sure make it hard to wait for the next one. Being a series junky these are my 'soap operas'; you can have TV for the most part.
Brandon was easily fooled by Chen in the begining, but, thankfully, he does get better and what a firestorm for him! Deborah is a wonderful story teller and this series of Dragon shifter's proves it. Deborah is an auto-buy for me.

Intrigue, romance, sex (hot steamy sex) sadness,devestation, heart break and fun,, what is there not too love about the family that faces all these life changing things and still see the benefits of loving and carng for each other is what life is all about.
I'm soooooo loving this series of dragons. Full of twist and turns intrigue romance suspense mystery action packed drama kept me on the edge of my seat throughout... I highly recommend this series. I can't seem to put them down once I start them. My hubby is missing me lately lol ♡♡♡
Another hit by Deborah Cooke. I love this series. The Dragonfire novels have been amazing from the first one. Brandon and Liz are so in denial of their true nature's. I love the way she weaves the storylines altogether and yet gives each dragon and his potential mate a unique story!
I have been waiting the entire series for a girl like Liz, and here she is! I really enjoyed her character and her interactions with Brandon. Great addition to this amazing series!
