Spolier Alert: As a solid reader of this series and of the Gender Games series I am a little disappointed in this novel. Not to say that is was not a good read but the story is dragging painfully along. After 5 books you are no where closer to finding out who the legacy group is. She touched briefly on the "alien girl" who visited the tower 25 years ago, but no new information has come to light after 5 books! The entire book was just going through the motions with nothing really happening until the last few pages. Then you are left with a Clif hanger to keep readers interested. I will continue the series as it is a good story and I want to see how it ends, but the story really needs to produce something that's not a continuation from the previous books.Tags : The Girl Who Dared to Think 5: The Girl Who Dared to Lead - Kindle edition by Bella Forrest. The Girl Who Dared to Think 5 The Girl Who Dared to Lead eBook Bella Forrest Reviews
I don’t know what about this book that was just fun to read. Lots of adventure and thrilling things happening to our characters. A twisted love story is being thrown in. It was just an overall good book. I really like this author and her writing. She makes it really easy to be hooked on these books!
New author for my daughter (17 yoa).....she reads very quickly and we are always looking for new book series. She read all 7 in less than a week over a long road trip this summer. She liked these and thought they were a good read. She is a fan of Roth, Maas, Riordan; and of course, Rowling.
I agree with the 2 star review. It is being dragged out, and in the end, could have been a trilogy that she charged $20 for or something. Instead it is now a 7 book series, and I have to pay $5 for EACH one. I did enjoy the story, but I don't think I can get behind an author that writes tiny amounts of the story at a time, and charges me $5 for each one.
I really like this book. (the whole series trustfully). I highly recommend it to anyone who likes action, romance and some future tech. Plot is very unique and interesting. I really like Bella describes AI in a future. The whole development of Liana's and Leo/Grey relationship is super sweet and sad at the same time. (I am team Leo by the way )). Looking forward to read next book.
Both my teenage daughter and I love this series and the latest installment continued the story well, even if it did end in a cliffhanger. The storyline was emotional to read at times, and you really feel for the characters, even the AI characters. I read somewhere that the series is expected to run for a total of 7 books and we can hardly wait to read the rest.
I love this series, but so far this is my least favorite book. It’s too technical when an easy explanation is called for, and then not enough explanation on the things that are in every book, like lashes. I can’t get a picture in my head. But you can’t let one book in a series ruin it. I also find the description of kisses being too descriptive (we GET it, important kiss!) and a lot of repetition. The author obviously has a thing for dimples, lol. I loved the character of Tian until I read she was 14. They treat her like a child but she’s 14? Confused by that one. I’m excited to get on to the next book, hoping that Leo will leave the boyfriend’s body. That’s too weird. Even though I’m complaining, I did enjoy the book. I just think it could move along at a faster pace.
Bella Forrest drags out her books. They are good, but seem to go on and on at points. Maybe it's the YA nature. Maybe it's meant to be more real-life-like or tv-series-like. Apparently, there are 2 more books to go in this series. I am happy that this one made me perk up in anticipation of how things will turn out.
