I liked this book because it kept me engaged enough to finish the entire story. There are so many times that I’ve picked up a book for it just not to hold my attention. (I always give a book and author five chapters before I put it aside and don’t pick it up again.)
Master of the Night combines several legends in a way that is realistic (for fiction) and not too cheesy. The writing is clean and easy to follow. Characters are developed to allow readers to empathize with the good ones and hate the bad ones.
I absolutely loved the action scene at the end. It was like I was there. Kudos, Mrs. Knight.
I will probably not read the rest of this series. I'm kind of burned out on the paranormal romance stuff, but I will check into some of Mrs. Knight's more recent titles.

I love Angela Knight! She has the best sense of romance, action, and comedy. She is easily the best romance author this side of the west!
I was very excited to read this book because of the positive reviews. I must say, I wasn't disppointed, but I wasn't very impressed. I think it was the plot concept that made this book a little dry for me. I think between "Magverse" and the fairies, Merlin, vampires, demons, witches, the round table, alien references, and humans, I found it to be just a little too much going on. But the author did a great job trying to make it work, it just fell kind of flat for me....at times I found the the book moving a little slow. There were some nice light hearted scenes in the book that got a chuckle out of me which I was hoping would continue throughout the book, but it didn't.
I thought the book was great. The concept of a Megaverse, a parallel world to our own is intriguing. The vampire, Reece Champion, tall, handsome, broad shouldered, irresistible, meets the Latent, Erin. This story brings you into the world of vampires, Fae, wizards and witches, and their struggles to overcome a great evil. If you like hot & steamy, you'll love it. I highly recommend it!
This is the start of the series which I somehow missed.
Nicely written but the characters and plot are not as solid as the rest of the series. Well done erotic scenes some humorous and some obviously intended to be humorous.

Wow. Angela is a new to me author. I'm so glad I was introduced to her books. This book is full of danger, intrigue, and romance. I highly recommend reading it. If I could give this more stars I would.
I'm giving this five stars because I loved the story and the hero and heroine. But I am having trouble coming to terms with the Knights of the Round Table theme along with Lancelot, King Arthur and Merlin among others from that tale. I know most reviewers really like the way Ms. Knight wove that story into her new interpretation, but I found it distracting. Perhaps this will bother me less as the series progresses. Angela Knight is a very good writer who does sex scenes that sizzle and has a unique approach to her subject. You can get lost in all the different characters, but Ms. Knight knows how to write them into her story without causing any confusion for the reader, while setting up characters for future books in this series. Just so you know the first story was about Lancelot and it appeared in the anthology called Hot Blooded.
I will never look at Arthurian legend the same way again. Interesting theory of Merlin, Arthur and the gang reinvisioned about their roles in history and modern day. I actually like this take on the outcomes of the characters. You have to like romance, graphic sex scenes and reimagining some of the favorite legends of history.
